The Ugly Art Studio began with a simple belief: that everyone deserves to create without pressure to perform. Founded in Lake Nona, we provide arts engagement for healthcare organizations and the community to support wellbeing through inclusive creativity. Currently, we run workshops virtually and in the Orlando area, while our art kits are available nationwide. Our art kits and workshops are both designed as art-for-wellness experiences that prioritize process over perfection. Blending creativity with curiosity, our unique offerings support wellbeing, spark self-expression, and remind people that making art is a deeply human act.

Right now, we’re in Phase 1: bringing art to healthcare and the community through workshops and art kits.

We’re actively working toward opening a brick-and-mortar studio space—a cozy, welcoming home base where creativity, connection, and community can thrive every day of the week. A space where:
